Paywall designs for an online publication

New Republic was implementing a paywall on their website for magazine articles and needed UI mockups for how these would look.
Through discussions with stakeholders and researching competitors, we found that we needed various iterations of the different stages a user would reach depending on how many free articles they have left.

I worked within existing branding guidelines to create multiple versions of each type of screen needed for web and mobile. From there, stakeholders reviewed the versions
Final Designs
After reviewing all the variations, the clients chose the designs that displayed the information the most clearly and those that all had a touch of contrasting color that stood out for CTAs.
