As a fairly new venue in Times Square, Sony Hall had approximately 4,000 followers and very low engagement on Instagram. They needed more consistent and compelling content to connect with followers and get people excited about their venue.
Curating a social strategy
I created a content strategy plan to increase engagement and gain more followers for Sony Hall.
The main things we focused on were:
- Curating visual content from past shows, vintage photos of the venue and NYC, and pop culture references
- Excluding admat posters with too much text
- Diligent community management and interaction with fans to improve customer service with online followers
